Here are some tips to help prevent further damage to your home or business once a storm has passed.

1. Shut off water source: shut off the water source if possible or contact a qualified party to stop the water source.
2. Turn off circuit breakers: turn off circuit breakers for wet areas of the home or business when access to the power distribution panel is safe from electrical shock.
3. Remove excess water: remove as much water as possible by mopping and blotting
4. Prop up wet upholstery: remove and prep up wet upholstery cushions for even drying. Do not put cushions covers in the washing machine.
